What is the Harbor Dental Plan?
First off, we're not an insurance company. We're a management group that's developed a unique way to provide you and your employees or members with low cost, hassle-free dental services. Simply put, we've recruited a group of top-flight dentists with the promise that we'd be sending them new patients in return for them providing your group with generous discounts on every visit.
With the Harbor Corporate Dental Plan, everyone wins.
Group Advantages: You may offer the Harbor Dental Plan on a stand-alone basis or along with any other dental programs now in place. There are no minimum participation or employer contribution requirements. HDP can accommodate a group billing or individual direct billing freeing your payroll or administration people from any involvement. You only need to grant us access and we will do the rest. Everyone, affiliated with your organization qualifies; full time, part time, temporary, seasonal workers, contract workers and retirees.
Members Advantages: Members get the benefit of very generously discounted rates resulting in a 10% to 80% savings over the usual and customary fee the dentist charges non-member patients. No claims to file, no annual limits to coverage, no waiting periods for major work, all pre-existing conditions allowed, no pre-treatment determinations required, and no surprises. The fee schedules available in each dentist's office will let you know exactly what you will pay before any work begins.
How your plan will work.
You simply sign up your employees or members, pay the required fees (or have them pay it directly on an individual basis), and we'll supply you with our comprehensive employee packages, which includes two membership cards, a benefit booklet and a list of the contracted providers located closest to you.
Then, when employees or members want to see a dentist, they pick one from the list, call for an appointment, and when the service is complete they pay the negotiated discounted fee, which will be anywhere from 10% to 80% off the standard dental fee.
